Revenue gain weakens, Voksel Electric suffers an IDR 72.1 billion loss in H1 2021 Aug 27, 2021 1:00 PM

JAKARTA. PT Voksel Electric Tbk (VOKS) reported a loss of IDR 72.1 billion in the first half of 2021 due to its depleting revenue.

In a recently released financial report, the net revenue of VOKS in H1 2021 is said to reach IDR 816.5 billion. This achievement is 16.18% lower than the gain reported in the same period last year.

On the other hand, the costs of sales of Voksel Electric in H1 2021 amount to IDR 766.97 billion. It is, in fact, decreasing from the costs reported in the same period last year. However, the decline only reaches 2.74% year-on-year (yoy).

Then, another decline is detected in VOKS’s selling expenses. It amounts to IDR 137.87 billion in the first half of 2021. However, once again, the shift only equals 11.9% yoy lower.

According to idnfinancials.com, Hengtong Optic-Electric International Co Ltd controls 30.08% of VOKS’s shares by the end of June 2021. Then, Showa Cable Systems Co Ltd acquires another 10.2%, Low Tuck Kwong 7.93%, while public investors divide the remaining 51.97% among themselves. (KR/ZH)
